RENEE Pore Minimizing Sunscreen SPF 70 Review

I have been in search of the perfect sunscreen for years and I have finally found it. I have been using the RENEE Pore Minimizing Sunscreen SPF 70 for the last few months and I am so in love with it.

I have tried so many different sunscreens, including the ones that say that they have natural ingredients, but almost all of them have left my skin feeling greasy, left a white cast, or have made me breakout. This sunscreen is none of those things. I can’t wait to tell you about it!

My Skin Type:

I have oily, acne-prone skin with some post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. I mainly have issues with oil control and pore size, but I’m also working on brightening my skin and lightening dark spots. I also have a medium skin tone, so I look for sunscreens that won’t leave a white cast on my face.

What I Liked:

This sunscreen is a 3-in-1! It not only protects your skin from the harmful UV rays, but it also minimizes the appearance of pores and controls oil. I love a multi-use product!

The SPF 70 is a great level of protection for everyday wear from harmful UV rays, and I found that it was easy to layer under my makeup. The formula was very lightweight and didn’t make my skin feel greasy at all. My makeup even went on smoother after I applied this sunscreen!

What I Didn’t Like:

I didn’t like that the sunscreen felt a little heavy on my skin. I have oily skin, so I prefer a sunscreen that is lightweight. I also didn’t like that the sunscreen didn’t absorb into my skin well. It left a little white cast on my face, and I had to work hard to rub it in.

I also didn’t like that the sunscreen stung my eyes. I accidentally got some sunscreen in my eyes, and it burned. I had to rinse my eyes with water to get the sunscreen out, and it was really uncomfortable. But, this is on me!

How to Apply:

I used a moisturizer and a primer before applying the sunscreen. This sunscreen is a little thicker than what I’m used to, but I was shocked at how well it blended into my skin. It didn’t leave any white residue, and it didn’t feel heavy at all. It was also easy to apply my makeup on top of it. I would definitely recommend this sunscreen to anyone who is acne-prone or has oily skin. I would also recommend this sunscreen to anyone who is looking for a good sunscreen to wear under their makeup. I will definitely be using this sunscreen all summer long!

The Results:

I was impressed with how my skin looked after using this sunscreen. I have a lot of redness, and this product was able to cover it up without needing to use a green color-correcting primer. It also didn’t settle into my fine lines or pores and didn’t look oily. My skin felt super soft, and it made my complexion look smoother.

Conclusion

I use this sunscreen on my face and neck area. I really like the way it feels on my skin and it doesn’t have a strong sunscreen smell. The pore minimizing effect is a nice bonus. I have used it under makeup and had no issues with pilling. I will continue to use this sunscreen as part of my daily routine.
