While La La Land has a beautiful message and sticks to reality while somehow still maintaining an air of whimsy, it will move you to tears on more than one occasion.
This is a movie that will leave you feeling good, with swollen eyes and wet cheeks. Definitely not a movie you’d want to watch on a first date.
